Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is serving up a smash hit with the May installment of Big Bad’s Monthly Drops — a series of scratch-made, over-the-top burgers debuting each month. Drop #003 is the Smashadilla Burger, which arrives just in time for Cinco de Mayo celebrations and the start of peak burger season.
Available May 1-31, the Smashadilla Burger brings the Big Bad attitude full circle, swapping traditional brioche buns for crispy quesadillas pressed to perfection around a double stack of taco-seasoned smash patties and melted Monterey Jack cheese. Layered with housemade pico de gallo, chipotle ranch and crushed avocado, then finished with a side of red salsa for dipping, this limited-time chef-driven creation is built to be boldly broken apart, dipped and devoured — not kept neat and tidy.
“May’s drop is all about big flavor and even bigger personality to honor National Burger Month,” said John Masterson, culinary director. “The Smashadilla Burger brings the crunch, the melt and the heat in every layer. It’s got that smash-and-sizzle energy, with fresh toppings that keep it bright and balanced. It’s messy in the best way — exactly how a Big Bad Drop should be.”
Guests can pair the Smashadilla Burger with a $6 Modelo 20-ounce draft, an ice-cold, easy-drinking balance to the burger’s bold, savory bite.
The flavor doesn’t stop at the burger. On May 5, Bad Daddy’s raises a glass to Cinco de Mayo with $5 Bad Ass margaritas—crafted with Margaritaville Gold Tequila and fresh lime juice for the perfect balance of vibrant and refreshing. Then on May 28, celebrate National Hamburger Day with a classic: the BD’s All-American Burger and a side for just $10.
Available at all Bad Daddy’s locations, the Smashadilla Burger continues the Big Bad Monthly Drops series — where each month brings a new flavor “drop,” engineered to surprise guests, stretch expectations and keep the menu anything but predictable.
