In recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week, May 4 to May 8, 2026, Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria is inviting communities across Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Arizona to nominate outstanding educators who make a meaningful difference in their students’ lives. One teacher will be awarded a year of free Lou Malnati’s pizza, along with a classroom pizza party to celebrate their impact.
Now through May 10, 2026, students, parents, administrators, and school staff are encouraged to nominate outstanding teachers from preschool through college, in both public and private schools. Community members can submit nominations online to recognize educators for their hard work, dedication, and meaningful influence both inside and outside of the classroom.
A total of 70 teachers will be recognized across Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Arizona.
Prizes include:
- One ultimate grand prize winner will receive one free medium pizza per week for a year, plus a pizza party for the entire school.
- Nine grand prize winners will receive one free medium pizza per week for a year.
- Sixty additional prize winners will receive one large cheese pizza each month for 12 months.
To enter, nominators will complete an online form and share in 100 words or less why their favorite educator deserves to be celebrated. Submissions will be judged based on the originality and strength of the nomination story.

Winners will be announced on National Pizza Party Day, May 16, 2026.
