Flying Biscuit Café announced strong franchise development activity in the first quarter of 2026, selling six territories, entering new markets, adding leases in four growth markets, and opening a new location in Tallahassee, Florida.
During Q1, Flying Biscuit entered new markets in Abilene, Texas and Nashville, Tennessee, while continuing to expand in Houston, Texas and Raleigh, North Carolina. The company also signed four new leases in Atlanta, Georgia; Raleigh, North Carolina; Orlando, Florida; and Knoxville, Tennessee, further strengthening its pipeline in high-opportunity markets.
With 42 locations open and 8 in development, Flying Biscuit continues to attract franchise candidates looking for a concept with momentum, staying power, and room to grow. The majority of the brand’s newest franchisees are experienced operators from successful franchise systems who bring proven operational discipline and a clear understanding of the sustainability and scalability of a brunch concept.
This activity builds on Flying Biscuit’s broader development pipeline, including a multi-unit development agreement signed in St. Louis, Missouri in Q4 2025, and reflects especially strong momentum in Florida, Texas, and Tennessee. As the brand expands into both new and existing markets, it remains focused on working with franchise partners who align with its culture, hospitality standards, and long-term vision.
“We’re seeing strong interest in Flying Biscuit because the brand has real staying power,” said Daryl Dollinger, President of Flying Biscuit Franchising. “Operators are drawn to our longevity, our ability to respond to market conditions, and our track record. What excites me most is seeing existing franchisees continue to expand with us. That says a lot about the strength of the brand and where it’s headed.”
