Rock N’ Roll Sushi is turning up the volume with the opening of its newest location at 1801 Jackson Avenue W on Mar. 9. The restaurant marks the brand’s first location in the city, fifth in the state and 77th in the US.

Located just minutes from the University of Mississippi campus and a short drive from The Square, the new restaurant brings the brand’s signature American-style sushi to a town that already knows a thing or two about being upbeat and fun, Oxford feels like a natural stage for a concept built around creative takes on traditional dishes with a Rock out loud vibe.

The Oxford restaurant is locally owned and operated by Brad and Heather Jetton. Gracing the main stage, the brand is serving signature specialty rolls like the Punk Rock Roll featuring shrimp tempura, spicy tuna and cream cheese on the inside, with seared yellowfin tuna topped with strawberry-avocado-jalapeño-cucumber salad, sweet-chili-ponzu dressing, spicy mayo and eel sauce on the outside. Don’t forget about the opening acts, however, because Rock N’ Roll Sushi’s unique appetizers like the Spicy Tuna Rockstars and the Headbanger Shrimp give fans a reason to cheer from the moshpit. Guests can also look forward to hibachi, salads, classic rolls, desserts and a full bar with wine, beer and sake in a high-energy atmosphere inspired by classic rock culture.

“We’re stoked to bring Rock N’ Roll Sushi to our community and contribute to the atmosphere of a place we now call home.” said Brad Jetton.

The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
