This unveiling marks the completion of the second phase of the hotel’s extensive, multi-phase transformation project, designed to modernize the property and enrich the guest experience.
As the first impression for arriving guests, the transformed lobby now serves as a vibrant, contemporary hub designed to welcome and inspire. Expanded seating, open communal spaces, and thoughtfully curated design elements create an oasis of calm and comfort. Drawing inspiration from nature, the space features tree-inspired motifs, rich textures, and carpeting that mimics the softness of grass underfoot. A state-of-the-art LED lighting system bathes the area in a soft glow, evoking the serenity of a clear California sky and setting a relaxed tone from the moment guests enter.
Anchoring the revitalized lobby is Poppy’s Lounge, a stylish yet welcoming bar concept where design and atmosphere take center stage. A striking grand chandelier—custom-made in Los Angeles—adds a touch of sophisticated flair, while plush seating and natural textures echo the serene, nature-inspired aesthetic of the surrounding space. Designed as both a vibrant social hub and a tranquil retreat, Poppy’s Lounge invites guests to unwind, connect, and linger. The menu complements the setting with an array of handcrafted cocktails, shareable bites, and locally inspired dishes. Signature drinks like the Pineapple Smash – crafted with High West Cask Finish Bourbon, simple syrup, lemon, fresh pineapple, mint, and Angostura bitters – pair perfectly with small plates such as pork belly burnt ends glazed in spicy BBQ sauce, or mahi mahi fish tacos with shredded cabbage, lime, pico de gallo, and chipotle aioli.
Available through end of June, Poppy’s Lounge debuted a seasonal cocktail menu that celebrates the vibrant flavors of the season with fresh, fruit-forward libations. Highlights include:

The transformed lobby and Poppy’s Lounge are part of the second wave of Hilton Anaheim’s full-property renovation, an ambitious project launched in 2024 to reimagine all guest-facing spaces across the hotel. Several major updates have already been completed, including the modernized meeting rooms, refreshed second through fourth floors, expansive second-floor ballrooms, and scenic Lanai and Sunset Deck—each thoughtfully redesigned to blend functionality with a fresh, contemporary aesthetic. When the renovation is fully complete in late summer 2025, Hilton Anaheim will debut a fully elevated guest experience, reaffirming its place as a premier destination for both local and international travelers.
