Dock Local, the family-owned seafood restaurant based in DFW, known for its chef-driven coastal cuisine in Texas and Tennessee, is proud to announce the launch of Lunches for Legends, a year-long community initiative dedicated to honoring the everyday heroes who serve the restaurant’s neighborhoods.
Lunches for Legends centers on a simple idea: sharing a meal as a meaningful way to say thank you. In each market where Dock Local operates – Dallas, Plano, Grapevine, and Nashville – local groups making a meaningful impact will be treated to a catered lunch as a gesture of appreciation from the communities they serve.
Designed as a shared effort, Lunches for Legends invites neighbors, guests, and local businesses to take part in a collective expression of gratitude. Guests can participate by adding a “Treat a Legend to Lunch” contribution at checkout (available at Dallas and Grapevine locations only) or on Dock Local’s website. At the time of purchase, guests will have the opportunity to designate which local group they would like their donation to support.
Each Lunches for Legends activation will include a catered meal prepared by Dock Local’s team along with recognition across Dock Local’s owned channels to spotlight the individuals and organizations being honored.
The initiative will follow a seasonal focus throughout the year:
• January – April: First Responders
• May – August: Nurses and Hospital Staff
• September – December: Teachers and School Staff
