Dallas-based global design consultant firm Harrison partnered with III Forks to redefine the modern Texas steakhouse experience with the debut of its newly designed Addison location, opened April 2025. From the exterior façade to the intricate details of the restaurant’s glassware, Harrison’s comprehensive approach ensured that every aspect of the restaurant reflects III Forks’ elevated Texas hill country inspired brand and commitment to excellence.

Located in the Village on the Parkway, a bustling hub of dining and entertainment, III Forks stands out in an increasingly competitive restaurant landscape. The leadership team at Consolidated Restaurant Operations, parent company of III Forks, turned to Harrison to craft a fresh yet classic identity, one that would appeal to longtime patrons while drawing in a new generation of diners.

Harrison’s expertise in architecture, interior design and branding is evident throughout the new III Forks experience. The transformation starts at the iconic storefront, where handcrafted exterior elements, made by a local metalwork artist in Dallas, establish a striking presence, through folded metal groupings of three interlocking panels, as a nod to the brand name providing a key signature moment. The façade is a true mecca, meticulously designed to capture attention while embodying an understated luxury.

Inside, Harrison orchestrated a seamless blend of sophistication and elegance with thoughtful Art Deco details. The design is built around themes of air, land and water, reflected in a large contemporary art installation in the dining room. Vertical elements, from ribbed glassware to architectural details reminiscent of the early-to-mid 1900’s create a sense of movement and flow. Rich greens and wood accents offer a balance of masculinity and refinement, while lighting and seating configurations enhance the guest experience, ensuring every visit feels both intimate and hospitable—an invitation to slip away from the outside world and enjoy your time in the moment. A visually striking bar serves as a focal point, visible throughout the restaurant.

“This effort is a reinvention of the III Forks experience,” said Curtis Osmond, President of III Forks. “Partnering with Harrison allows us to evolve the brand while staying true to the quality and hospitality our guests have come to expect. We’ve created something bold and contemporary that still feels unmistakably III Forks, and we are thrilled to welcome guests in Addison to this next chapter.”

Beyond aesthetics, Harrison’s design extends into the functionality of the space. Two adaptable private dining rooms cater to a variety of occasions, one featuring a window overlooking an outdoor fountain for a serene setting. A secret entrance to one of the private rooms adds a touch of exclusivity. Even the restrooms contribute to the experience, with a moving picture display of a Texas countryside and ambient sounds of cattle moving across the ranch.

Harrison’s role went beyond architectural design, encompassing the full branding and guest experience. The III Forks identity is reflected in a new logo, custom flatware, staff uniforms, a curated music selection and to-go packaging, ensuring a cohesive look and feel—all created by Harrison. The to-go bags, designed to resemble high-end retail shopping bags, reinforce the restaurant’s premium positioning, while embossed textures on menus and packaging add tactile storytelling elements.

“Our team’s goal was to craft a contemporary experience, one where every touchpoint and signature moment was considered, from the first impression of the exterior façade to the final detail of the branded menus and packaging, reinforcing the III Forks brand,” said Keith Anderson, Global CEO of Harrison. “III Forks is about refined opulence, and that needed to be reflected in more than just the elevated interior—it had to be a complete immersive identity.”
