WHO/WHAT: Bottoms up! Miami’s own Chef Eileen Andrade is preparing to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her first restaurant child, Finka Table & Tap, and invites the South Florida community to join in the festivities. Starting on Saturday, June 22, and running through Monday, July 1, ‘The 10 Days of Finka’ will feature exciting and nostalgic events celebrating Finka’s past decade.

  • DAY ONE: On Saturday, June 22, the restaurant will kick off with the Flashback Favorites, featuring a beloved Tamal en cazuela and El Chapo from Finka’s past, selected by fans through an online poll.
  • DAY TWO: On Sunday, June 23, Chef Eileen will participate in a Q&A via Finka’s social media platforms, giving viewers a unique opportunity to hear firsthand about her culinary journey.
  • DAY THREE: For one day only on Monday, June 24, guests can enjoy a variety of fan-favorite dishes and cocktails for $10. Cocktail selections include Cuban Old Fashioned and Sage by the Bell, while dish selections include Vaca Tostones, Cuban Fried Rice, KFC, Ceviche, Vaca Frita Pizza, Croquetas, Mac & Cheese and Brisket Ravioli.
  • DAY FOUR: On Tuesday, June 25, Alumni Night will commence in which those whose culinary careers intertwined at Finka will gather for one more hoorah.
  • DAY FIVE:  The following day, Wednesday, June 26, Finka is honored to give back a 10% portion of that entire day’s proceeds to support Kristi House.
  • DAY SIX: On Thursday, June 27, guests are encouraged to participate in a Throwback Thursday social media contest by posting photos of their most memorable Finka moments, such as birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, and baby showers. The best photo will win a $100 Finka gift card.
  • DAY SEVEN: An Employee Appreciation Day will be on Friday, June 28, where the restaurant will honor its dedicated staff, particularly those who have been with Finka since opening.
  • DAY EIGHT: On Saturday, June 29, Finka will honor community service members by offering a 20% discount to police, fire, medical personnel, teachers, and nurses (with a valid ID).
  • DAY NINE: For Sunday Funday,  Sunday, June 30, guests can make a “then vs. now” social media post. The best picture combo of a guest or “Finka Baby” from 2014 and 2024, will win a$100 gift card.
  • DAY TEN: The fun concludes on Monday, July 1, and in honor of the official 10th anniversary of Finka Table & Tap, guests will enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbly and croqueta between 4PM – 7PM.

Over the past decade, Finka Table and Tap has evolved from a humble eatery into a beloved local institution, known for its innovative cuisine and vibrant atmosphere. Chef Eileen explains how the community has been the driving force behind the growth and success… Chef Eileen says “Watching a crazy idea I had 10 years ago blossomed into a neighborhood staple and a place where so many people have experienced beautiful memories and moments has been an absolute honor. This neighborhood is my neighborhood where I was born and raised and there is nowhere else I can imagine this love project blossoming other than in West Kendall. I am proud of my team for riding this wild ride with me and sticking by my side. We’ve been through amazing times, hurricanes, a pandemic, we’ve put on wonderful events, served millions of guests and so much more and we did it all with love in our hearts, passion for hospitality, and respect for our community. Thank you to our patrons who without them, we are nothing. Every person that walks through our doors is special and we thank them for loving Finka the way we love Finka. Thank you Miami.
