Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar, the original House of Song and a staple of high-energy nightlife for more than three decades, is turning up the volume on its beverage program with the debut of an all-new lineup of signature cocktails and shots. Leading the charge is the newly introduced Pete’s House Shot —a nostalgic, crowd-starting experience designed to kick off unforgettable nights.
Inspired by the brand’s roots as Pete’s Peanut Bar in Austin in 1992, the Pete’s House Shot brings a playful, throwback twist to the menu. The experience pairs Maniball Peanut Butter Tequila with a packet of grape or strawberry jelly—guests “dab the jelly, shoot the tequila,” and try not to laugh along the way.
The House Shot also nods to Pete’s origin story, when guests would crack open peanuts straight from a barrel and toss the shells on the floor. Today, that same carefree energy lives on in a more elevated form.
Alongside the Pete’s House Shot, the new drink menu features a variety of inventive, peanut-inspired cocktails—each with a playful nod to the bar’s origins as Pete’s Peanut Bar—designed to match the lively, music-driven atmosphere Pete’s is known for:
- Maní Fashioned – A nutty spin on the classic Old Fashioned, featuring Maniball Peanut Butter Tequila, bitters and orange peel.
- Peanut Colada – A tropical escape with a twist, blending peanut butter tequila, pineapple juice, coconut and cream.
- Fat Elvis – A decadent mix of peanut butter tequila, banana liqueur and cream, topped with a banana chip.
- PB&J Shot – A layered, nostalgic favorite combining Maniball Peanut Butter Tequila with strawberry liqueur.
Each drink is crafted to complement Pete’s signature dueling piano experience—where audience participation, singalongs and spontaneous performances are all part of the show.
