Sunny Street Cafe is expanding its menu with the addition of two new lunch items and the permanent placement of a guest-favorite entrée — following a successful limited-time offering over the summer — alongside a Mother’s Day special.

Shrimp & Grits (starting at $15.99) has officially earned its place on the core menu. The dish features sautéed shrimp basted in Sunny Street’s house Cajun sauce, combined with bacon, grilled onions, peppers, and tomatoes, and served over Southern-style cheddar grits. Originally introduced as a limited-time offering, the item quickly resonated with guests and consistently outperformed expectations, leading to its transition to a permanent menu staple.

Sunny Street is also introducing two new lunch offerings designed to expand its sandwich and salad lineup and bring added variety and value to the midday daypart:

  • Hot Italian Club: Grilled ham, pepperoni, and bacon on toasted ciabatta bread with jack cheese, chopped lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, and hot pepper mayo. Starting at $13.99.
  • Italian Chop Salad: Chopped ham, pepperoni, jack cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, banana peppers, bread crumbs, and oregano over fresh greens with Italian vinaigrette. Starting at $13.99.

In addition to the menu updates, Sunny Street is offering a limited-time Mother’s Day: Moms who dine in on Mother’s Day will receive complimentary flowers, paired with a special Key Lime Blueberry Pancake available throughout Mother’s Day weekend. The dish balances bright citrus from the key lime custard with the sweetness of sugared blueberries and a buttery graham cookie crumb for a dessert-like twist on a classic brunch favorite.

Together, the additions reinforce Sunny Street’s ongoing focus on flavor-forward innovation, balanced menu architecture and strong lunch-daypart performance. The lineup reflects a continued emphasis on comfort-driven favorites alongside bold, portable options designed for both dine-in and on-the-go occasions.
